Phillippa (Pip) Martin M.A.(Hons), Dip Tch, QSM. CSP®.
Pip has always been interested in health issues – she worked for a period geriatric nursing as a student became interested in child health issues as a Health and Safety Coordinator in Plunket (she is a Life Member of the RNZPS).
After the death of her mother, internationally-known research radiographer Marjorie Gordon, she became increasingly interested in chemical health issues. Her mother’s recognized sensitivity to hazardous xray chemicals lead Pip, in 1997, to found SNFTAAS – www.snftaas.org - the Support Network for the Aldehyde and Solvent Affected. Pip helped achieve a government inquiry into Hazardous Chemicals in the Workplace.
Tired of not having any strategies to help people improve their health, in 2004 Pip trained in Scenar in its earliest NZ days. She also offers Meridian Energy Analysis with the MEAD which provides quick and useful computer analysis of energy (voltage) in the various meridians. She undertook further Scenar training in 2006 in Bulgaria with Russian Eye Surgeon, Dr Irina Kossovskia, and also did training in the States. Pip finds Scenar combined with soft Laser light very effective therapies. From 2007, Pip trained in Body Talk (Levels 1, 2, and 3) and Traditional Chinese Medicine Applied to Body Talk.
Pip has completed Anatomy and Physiology for Holistic Body Workers (Honours pass).
An increasing interest in the many factors important to restoring health has lead to the c0-development of an email-based health programme with Medical Herbalist, Alicia Melrose. She also works with Landscape Architect and Permaculture teacher, Emily Williams, to present a weekend course on making nutrient-dense food – “The Farmhouse Kitchen”. Helping in her husband’s new business selling raw milk from the farm means there are not many spare seconds in a day.
