Christina is the sole owner/operator of Scenar & Massage Therapy, Director of Scenars.co.nz Ltd and approved Distributor of Scenar Devices.
I am a home grown Southlander – from the City of Light and I have been fortunate to grow up around Farming and Fishing when I was younger, my father was ex-army and very active so I guess you could say my brother and I had to fall into line so to speak and, man, did we walk some miles.
I have worked in NZ and Australia, mainly in tax, banking, admin, PA, Meat Inspection, Massage Therapy – Diploma RMT/MNZ and a Certified Scenar Practioner®.
I'm a mother of 3 and a grand mum (and, by the way, I do not feel that old). Grand kids are great and you can hand them back. I am proud to say one of my children has represented NZ on a National and International level – The Australian Youth Olympics 2005 in running/sprinting including Ambassador for NZ and Heart Foundation Representative. He did very well considering he had a Heart Operation in 2003.
Having worked in many industries, seeing and experiencing many injuries myself, my family and friends, co-workers, I decided to enter the Health Industry. I completed a Diploma in Massage in 2002 and have continued training ever since in many other massage and complimentary therapies. I was always looking for that one thing that would make the ultimate difference.
Then I came across Scenar and travelled back across the ditch many times, trained by Chris Mortensen to level 3 and have attended Master class training with Dr Alexander Revenko and Prof. Alexander Tarakanov. I have also completed a Sports Injury Course with our own NZ Trainer Dr Jorg Prinz.
I was the first Certified Scenar Practioner® in NZ and the first NZer to use the new RITM Scenar Professional Device.
Scenar is complimentary to many other Health Modalities, including allopathic medical, and is useful for PAIN RELIEF and HEALTH RECOVERY. It is used in Russian Hospitals, accident and emergency, rehabilitation, ambulances and by their general practioners.
I can imagine setting up reciprocal meetings with Russian doctors to exchange information/ideas and learn new and more efficient ways of dealing with injury and disease, helping each other. Wow the mind boggles, how cool would that be?
To those in the Health Industry if you could make a difference with someone’s Pain or Health why would you not? Give Scenar a go and make a difference.
