4th Australasian SCENAR Conference, 2015 – “The Best conference – EVER!”

SCENARConference2015-with date1

What wonderful praise received from our Russian OKB RITM guests who have attended many SCENAR conferences around the world!
Maybe they were being kind but their thoughts were reflected unanimously by all the delegates so we all agree; the best conference ever!

Delegates travelled from Japan, Russia, New Zealand and of course Australia. Speakers were from Australia, New Zealand, Boston USA, Canada and of course Russia, such an international gathering.

With so much on the program, breakout sessions were offered a few times a day, which appealed to many of the delegates. Being able to choose the topic of most interest was very attractive. On the other hand, with so many stimulating topics and speakers, the breakout sessions posed a bit of a dilemma for a number of the delegates! Looking forward to the videos: available shortly.

Topics ranged from Dr Irina Kossovskaia’s excellent presentations on the Immune System, Chronic Stress and ANS plus The Healing Triangle to Dr Iveta Iontcheva-Barehmi on Holistic Dentistry, and also a practical approach to dental techniques, both speakers proving very popular.
Dr Iosif Semikatov was kept busy with his very popular sessions on SCENAR Expertise and Prognosis sessions during the conference, and Jorg Prinz provided a stimulating talk on SCENAR applications with regards to Symptoms.

To add some “outside the box” presentations, Rob Santich presented his thoughts on The Complete Approach: Herbal and SCENAR Therapies plus SCENAR and ADHD, both extremely popular with delegates.

Joyce McSwan, a local pain management expert, gave freely of her time to provide some thought provoking views on Persistent Pain.
One of the most popular sessions was a new Meridian Stretch technique presented by Toshio Kobayashi from Japan. He couldn’t keep up with the requests for personal stretch demonstrations from the delegates during the breaks!

Treatment sessions were on offer for therapists by their peers. Therapists often miss out on SCENAR therapy and with three tables available plus Jorg providing his expert opinions, some well needed treatment was given.

Misha Unakafov was brilliant with his technical knowledge of everything SCENAR and with the assistance of Vincent Bowyer providing practical demonstrations of the RISTA system; delegates were made aware of the benefit of meridian testing and the use of the ULM Blanket therapy.

Adam Gibson from Health Leaders Academy provided his expert advice on how to get the most from your business and practical marketing tips which were most appreciated by all delegates. Adam’s special offer to delegates was an unexpected bonus!

The Gala Dinner was a great event with Dr Yury Starovoytov MD RITM OKB presenting 4 lucky winners with one of three new SCENAR personal, Sport and Sport D bio feedback devices now in Australia and the new silver electrode, available for sale from your RITM Distributor.

Elly Tomova was kept busy servicing and cleaning devices and Vincent and Boyan did an excellent job with the videos throughout the conference. The four days went quickly with “happy exhaustion” all round! The venue was excellent, food outstanding and the staff at the Greenmount assisted admirably to make everything run smoothly.

The SCENAR family in Australia continues to grow. With the continuing support of the SCENAR Therapists Association Australasia Inc. and RITM Australia P/L, we will continue to gain our rightful place in Pain Management therapy in Australia.

The big question is: where to next time? Don’t worry, already a few ideas in mind!
